Fireworks is a unique blend of cultural dance, contemporary circus,
sensual fire artistry, theatrical fireworks and uplifting music from around the world. This
fiery mix
combines to produce some of the most exciting, dynamic and acclaimed shows
seen today.
History in the
Making
Fireworks Dance Company began a decade
ago when a collection of Melbourne's finest independent fire
dancers, jugglers and percussionists banded together to create an experience that would
never be
forgotten. No
one could have foreseen the impact that such a group could make on a live
audience and the public response was overwhelming. From this beginning,
Fireworks Dance Company was born.
Today, Fireworks is
Melbourne’s longest established and most acclaimed fire performance
troupe. With 10 years experience and over 1000 spectacular fire
shows performed at many of Melbourne and Australia’s top events and
venues, Fireworks has gained a reputation not only for our high energy,
high impact shows, but also our attention to production and especially
safety. Add to this our Crown Casino preferred artist status and our
Cirque du Soleil artist database listing and you have a very special
performance company.

Fireworks produces stage spectaculars, roving entertainment and
theatrical pyrotechnics for all types of private and corporate functions
and major events. Specialists in the spectacular, Fireworks is eagerly
sort after by those who want that something special to leave their
guests with a lasting memory of an
event.

outstanding client list, a high profile and an unblemished record that
similar troupes can only dream of. Fireworks have performed for many of
the major events in the country including the 2007 Moomba Festival, 2003 Melbourne International Arts Festival, 2000 Olympics baton relay,
2005 Deaflympics opening ceremony, 2006 Commonwealth games events and
the 2004 Melbourne Fringe Festival for example.
Private and corporate
entertainment is our specialty and many of the top 250 companies in Australia
have looked to Fireworks for a show-stopper including Telstra, Pricewaterhouse
Coopers, Microsoft and the AFL to name just a few. Over the years
Fireworks have performed to a
combined audience of over 500,000 Australia wide.
