7.12.09- NAB and MLC Christmas Ball, Docklands
Djinn and Zefirah wowed an audience of over 900 with the hugely popular Freak
Show at the massive NAB and MLC xmas ball at Waterfront Docklands. Guests were
stunned as Djinn pushed the limits of his pain tolerance while the super sexy
Zefirah punished him in her own unique ways. |

3.10.09- V n'V Ball Boo Sparkle cut loose
with her angle grinder and an assortment of teddy bears for the V n' V ball for
the Melbourne Fringe Festival. Freaky fashion was the order of the night so
Vyvyan and her bears slotted in without a fuss, slaying the audience with her
crazy antics. |

18.9.09- WPAC Opening, Wangaratta
The City of Wangaratta opened they're brand new arts centre WPAC (Wangaratta
Performing Arts Centre) with a celebration party that locals will remember for
some time. The Fireworks crew were up there
entertaining the locals with some roving entertainment for the festival during
the day followed by a massive 8 piece Pyrorhythmic show, complete with stage
pyrotechnics and a huge pyrotechnic display to officially open the centre. |

4.7.09- Lectroland @ Order of Melbourne
Uncle Sam would have been well proud of Boo Sparkle as she cut loose with her
angle grinder to celebrate Lectroland's special 4th of July party. All things
USA was the theme for the night and Tank girl Boo Sparkle certainly unleashed
'shock and awe'. Cop that Saddam! |

11.4.09- Fire recovery circus workshops @ Kinglake
Following the devastation of the Black Friday bushfires many events were run in
the effected areas to help with the rebuild and to boost moral. The Fireworks
crew were invited to bring some circus fun to the Kinglake and Flowerdale
communities, which was readily accepted and a wonderful weekend was had by all
that came along. |

31.12.08- New Year in the Vines @ Yarra Glen
The Fireworks crew was in the Yarra
Valley to see '09 in at the New Year in the Vines dance party at Train Trak
Winery in Yarra Glen. There was funky tunes, fine food and fireworks nestled in
the vineyard and was a great way to see in the new year.

17.10.08- FireWorks 10th birthday party @ St. Kilda
Fireworks Dance Co. is 10 years old this year and the
crew held a special fire night at O'Donnell Gardens in St.
Kilda, next to Luna Park. The crew and a whole heap of fiery friends and fans
were there to celebrate the only way they now how....with loads of fire. Special
friends from overseas and a ceremonial birthday cake burning were highlights of
a night that went on till the wee small hours. |

14.8.08 to 11.9.08- Bosch Thunderstruck National Tour
Bosch power tools launched their new range of tradesman
toys and got Djinn and Vyvyan in to show off what they could do....in a way that
only the Fireworks crew can. Visiting most capital cities, tradies from east to
west got a demo they will long remember. |

31.7.08- The Main Event @ Palladium, Crown Casino
Djinn and Vyvyan were Kung Fu fighting with fire at the
The Main Event, a launch for Hollywood's block buster season. Universal Pictures
called the Fireworks crew in to highlight 'Mummy 3' with a spectacular martial
arts inspired routine that definitely fired up the audience. |

25.6.08- Mackay Festival of Arts @ Mackay QLD.
The tropical North was a little warmer than usual when Zefirah appeared
with her fire Belly dance show to open this years Mackay Festival of Arts. One
of Queensland top arts festivals, the Mackay Festival had an excellent line
up of artists from all over the country and Fireworks was there to represent our
unique art form.

10.11.07 to 1.12.07- Mega Madness
Motor Cross Regional Tour
Australia's top stunt and motor cross
riders were brought together to feature in Australia's own home-grown motor
cross spectacular. Along with the awesome tricks and flips, Fireworks staged a massive pyrotechnic show complete with fire breathers. |

3.9.07- Lifetime Exposure exhibition @ Federation Square
Herald Sun and Fireworks photographer
David Caird was awarded for the year in a row, the nations most
prestigious photographic award for his collection 'Lifetime Exposure'.
Part of the winning collection included a selection of shots of
Fireworks's Vyvyan in action. Naturally Vyvyan was invited to show her
wares to gathered audience, bringing her photos to life. Congratulations
David form all the Fireworks crew. |

3.8.07- Liberty Finance 10th birthday party @ The Metro
Djinn & Sonic Dominator in his Fire
breather role hit The Metro in Melbourne and blew the Liberty Finance
staff off their feet. And it didn't end there for the guests as they
were privy to a huge night with the likes of Wicked Force Breakers, Jon
Stevens, Richard Clapton and Rogue Traders also on the bill. |

5.4.07- La Festa
Festival @ Griffith NSW
With
a large multi-cultural community Griffith came out in force to see
Fireworks at the La Festa Festival. The entire town became a festival
and our fire dancers and belly dancers were right in the middle of it.
The audiences response was overwhelming and it's fair to say we will be
going back for sure. |

24.3.07- Williamstown
Festival
One of Melbourne's largest festivals, the
Willy Festival ended a massive day with a special presentation of
Warning!...Playing with fire. Along with this amazing fire show the
lucky festival goers got to see an installation by Mutoid Waste and a spectacular sky
show by AVFX.

10.3.07 & 11.3.07- Moomba
Waterfest 2007
This years Moomba Waterfest festival
opened with a spectacular fire and pyrotechnic river display over 2 nights. A collaboration between FireWorks, Show FX and the City of Melbourne,
this opening was unlike any seen before at Moomba and was an amazing experience
for all 12 performers spread up the length of the Yarra. Definitely one
to tell the grand kiddies about. |

27.8.06- The Hume
Festival of
Learning
Hume City Council held
a great day at the Hume Global Learning Centre
with a
festival all about learning being fun, interactive, hands on and
sometimes unstructured. Fireworks presented a circus show to kick the
day off as well as running circus and drumming workshops for all the
guests. And while the guests were there they had their futures told by our fortune
teller.

15.3.06- Party Pacifica Festival @ Knox City
Well...the Commonwealth games came to
Melbourne in March & didn't we know it. Gigs a plenty with Party
Pacifica being a highlight. Fireworks headlined the bill that saw Wicked
Force Breakers strutting their stuff & an amazing Haka that went off. |

Cavalcade - Reigns of Fire Tour 2005
For
the first time in Australia, Cavalcade brought it's massive stadium show
with horses and riders from around the world. Fireworks went on the
national tour, providing the exciting fire effects and performances.
Many of Australia's top show jumpers, stockmen and stunt riders joined
singing stars Peter Brocklehurst and Melinda Jackson to present the most
stunning equine show of it's type in the southern hemisphere. |

10.9.05- V8 Supercars @ Sandown Raceway
Djinn, and Vyvyan,
assisted by Keith and the Mad Bushman performed for Orrcon Racing
Team in the VIP marquee above pit-lane, making the pit refueling crews
rather nervous! |

26.8.05- Kenworth Trucks Anniversary @ Alice
Springs The Fireworks crew and
Show FX pyros teamed up for the trek to Australia's dry centre to
produce a reverse-in-the-round fire show for 500 guests in the middle of
the remote outback. Ooraminna Station was converted into a 5-star, under
the stars dining and performance experience for Kenworth Trucks. In the
down time under the hot desert sun, Boomba Stadium was built and
held it's first caterpillar races. |

19.3.05- Beats
Per Minute Tour
Djinn and Zefirah are training the tap dancers of BPM in poi dancing,
which they will incorporate into their choreography for their nationally
touring show. Look out for poi moves by Zefirah and glow-poi
manufactured by Djinn as part of Beats Per Minute, touring regional and
capital cities in 2005.

5.1.05- 2005 Deaflympic
Games Opening Ceremony @ Olympic Park, Melbourne.
Fireworks was
enlisted to produce a special cauldron lighting for the
Deaflympics...& we delivered.
Djinn and Vyvyan let
off explosions of fire on the cauldron stage for the torch moment, and
as it was lit, 80 cheerleaders, Girl Guides and school kids, trained up
by Djinn, Vyvyan and Sonic Dominator in the previous 3 days performed in
a huge ring of fire around the main stage. At the same time Aradia,
Zefirah, Dylan and Matt performed a kick-ass, 4 - pronged fire show,
joined by Vyvyan and Djinn at the end for a huge duo fireball and
massive Olympic style pyrotechnic send-off. In this pyro's opinion
it was the best gig ever!

4.9.04- Deloitte Ball
@ Luna Park,
Sydney.
Fireworks
Crew flew up to Sydney for the weekend to wow the audiences in Luna
Park's Big Top venue with a 45 minute stage show as part of Deloitte's
Annual Ball celebrations. Much shenanigans ensued as Fireworks Dance was unleashed on Sydney including Simone's hand-balancing on Bondi, Arzu's
snake, Atum slithering around the hotel rooms and Vyvyan, Jen and Craig
chugging beer and terrorizing the locals at the Park near Central!

The Secret Cabaret Melbourne Fringe Festival 04 Special
Events- October 7th and 8th
The first show sold out
so we did another one and that sold out too. Wesley Anne had never been
so full and probably never will be again. It was the friggin best and if
you missed it, boy you f*&cked up! Melbourne we love you! You get
our warped sense of humour!

nights and fiery fun...The Secret Cabaret club show kicked off it's
monthly residency in June beneath the huge ceilings and old world charm
of Wesley Anne. B boy beats & blockhead acts opened the season & set the

2004 Hot air balloon race @ Mildura.
Hot air
and fireballs...and Fireworks Crew haven't even started yet. It's a big
festival about big balloons having a big race. In the home of the big

31.12.03- The
Stokehouse NYE @ St. Kilda beach
The
Stokehouse proudly presented The Secret Cabaret for their massive party by the
sea last NYE.
Joining
Fireworks as special guests were Brazilian beats specialists
Tumbarumba, who got everyone shakin their money maker!

23.10.03- The Secret
Cabaret @ The Famous Spiegeltent
As part of the
Melbourne International Arts Festival 2003, Fireworks
received a
special invitation from The Spiegeltent to host The Secret Cabaret, and one of
the biggest nights of the festival occurred with more than 500+ patrons
crammed into the famous venue, and another 150 odd waiting till 2am to
get in to see us. The show
featured acts including special guests Swing Patrol and Vula & Maureen the Hula Queens.

3.7.03 to 14.7.03-
The Secret Cabaret @ The Lido.
In July, The Secret Cabaret made
its stage debut at The Lido
Cabaret Club. An old world theatre perfectly complimented the
fire, circus and dance acts that The Secret Cabaret is quickly becoming known for. Audiences
were treated to real circus cabaret with a dark & twisted story that
has set a new benchmark in multi skill theatre.

Craigieburn Festival.
The locals were in
for a shock when the Fireworks crew made the hike out to Craigieburn and
staged the 8 piece show. Both the performers and the audience had a
spectacular time. Can't wait for the next one!

The StokeHouse NYE 2002, St. Kilda beach.
For the fourth
year in a row, The Stokehouse rocked the New Year into full swing. The
biggest night yet and definitely the best, all ticket holders
expectations were exceeded. Nadima's sultry snake dance and
Aradia's signature 'Warrior dance' mesmerized the crowd, while Djinn
flaunted his style and skill throughout the night.

aerialists, midgets and scuba-divers in a huge tank of water.

The Stokehouse NYE 2001, St. Kilda beach.
St.
Kilda's famous Stokehouse Restaurant hosted Fireworks for their NYE send-off by the sea. For the third year running, Fireworks
dazzled the patrons while they enjoyed the fabulous Stokehouse
food. Our aerialists joined the party for some extraordinary treats and
the fire finale
left the crowd speechless.

Bella Italia Festival, Crown Casino.
With one of the
most diverse multicultural communities in the world, Melbourne has a
unique reputation for it's cultural festivals and Bella Italia was no
exception.

1.9.01-
'Make a Wish Foundation' fundraiser, The Willows restaurant.
Sending kids with
cancer to Disneyland is a cool concept and Fireworks was doing it's bit
to make it happen. Held at one of the finest restaurants in Melbourne,
guests saw roving fire performers early on, and a special show by
the belly dancers and drummers once things heated up.

2001 Telstra Awards, Melbourne Town Hall.
Fireworks kicked
off the 2001 Telstra awards with a fire dance spectacular that blew the
audience away. The show was a new piece for an old pyro favourite,
The Prodigy's 'Fire Starter'.

Whittlesea Festival.
Fireworks was the
main attraction for the grand finale of the Whittlesea Festival. Our drummers
added their
talents to a huge Chinese lantern parade that finished with a giant
pyrotechnic display.

New Monkey @ QBH, Southbank.
New years eve went
off with a blast when Fireworks appeared at QBH for Monkey's night of
nights, New Monkey 2001. Djinn unpacked his flame thrower and freaked
out many a spaced out raver. Vyvyan rung in the new year with a series
of massive fireballs for the 2001 count down, and still goes on about
the thrill of being mid-fireball when the clocked ticked over.

The 22nd was a night of weird
and wonderful sights of ET's. Vyvyan was there with her fire show, along
with snake charmers and bondage freaks. The night was the official 'Q of

Magikal Mythikal Masked Ball @ Monsalvat, Eltham.
Vyvyan was truly
in her element in the magnificent grounds of Monsalvat for the Summer solstice
celebrations. Witches from all over the state converged on the famous artist colony
for a night of medieval feasting and entertainment.

Circus Creature
was a fundraising benefit for the AIDS Trust of Australia. The late
Bernard King played ring master for an evening of trapeze, fire
breathing, belly dancing and angle grinding....not to mention the sex

2000 Olympic torch relay, Melbourne leg.
As part of the
City of Melbourne's Olympic torch relay celebrations, Fireworks
performed at all 3 of the official events around Melbourne. These included
the Flemington and Monash relay legs, as well as the official AOC dinner
at Southbank.

Here are just a
couple of crazy images from The Market, a popular gay club that just
loves fire. The night was a send up of the 'Blair Witch Project' where
burning crucifixes and scary drag queens were all out for the night.
